Electric Supermoto (aka Supermotard) motorcycles have huge potential to change the race track and the streets. Strong, linear, flexible power delivery and compact design make these bikes ideal track weapons. Upright riding position and flickable handling make them great short to medium distance machines.
Supermoto motorcycles offer some of the most exciting racing on two wheels. The flat torque curve of electric power provides massive, consistent power from the instant you crack the throttle. Regulating this power is important and can be done electronically with the right technology. Most importantly, it can be done with the flip of a switch.
On the pavement, maximum power settings will be used to exit corners quickly and make backing it in easier. The consistent power delivery will allow the rider to balance tire spin with traction. On the dirt, power can be tuned down with the flip of a switch allowing smooth tires to stick to the dirt better.
If all this was not enough, the bikes make very little noise and have zero emissions which opens up many venues to hosting a race. Indoors or in crowded areas are now possible race tracks.
